Dr. Calig gave us a thumbs up on Sophia's first visit. She lost 1 lb since birth (which is normal) and is doing just fine. She has a lot of gas, but who doesn't?

Today Sophia went for her first walk in the park while daddy hit a few golf balls.

Sophia's First Wedding

Our good friends Maggie and Steve got married at the Sherwood Country Club and we all got to attend. Sophia slept through the entire ceremony and cocktail hour.

Back to Work

Sophia visited the Westlake Troop office to say hi to all of Suzan's co-workers. She slept for 3 hours while Suzan got some work done ;)

Sophia finds her voice

Today Sophia realized that she has a voice ;) Until now the only noise she made was crying. While swinging she made the cutest little happy noises. She seemed surprised that she could make them. She is soooo cute!!

Sleeping Through the Night - Yippy!

Last night Sophia slept through the night!!!! I'm not kidding! We all went to bed at 11:00pm and at 7:00am we woke up and she was still sleeping. I thought that maybe we woke up and I forgot...but NO....she actually slept for over 8 hours. By 7:15am I had to wake her up to change and feed her.

Jack-O-Lantern

Sophia got to visit her first pumpkin patch (it was Suzan and Steve's first pumpkin patch in many many years too ;) We went with our very good friends Dave and Emily who LOVE holidays and always inspire us to these fun things.

Visiting Great Grandpa
Sept 27
Sophia went on her first airplane to visit her 98 year old great grandpa and great aunt Ruthie in Danville Illinois. Her auntie Kristi also flew in from DC. The 'Kiger Girls' had a great time in Illnois and were VERY happy that grandpa Laverne got to meet his great grandaughter.
